i completed my 200-hour teacher training at the corner yoga studio in brooklyn. i am currently embarking on my 300-hour RYT training at ISHTA yoga in nyc, including yoga nidra, meditation, and restorative trainings. i have additional training in yin yoga and trauma-informed somatics.
my goal is to hold space for students to feel what there is to feel. rooted in breath awareness, i encourage students to gather their attention, quiet their inner-critic, and explore their mind-body connection.
i offer options + variations throughout class to make asana accessible for all bodies, ages, abilities, curiosities, and energy levels. my playlists are a carefully crafted blend of house, psychedelic rock, indie, lofi, and ambient tunes to create an atmosphere for introspection and self-connection.
my personal practice is one of remembering my own autonomy - the freedom to move, breathe, and be my genuine self. through my practice, i've learned that autonomy isn't just about independence; it's about listening to my body, discovering and honoring my boundaries, and trusting my intuition.
for me, each time i step on my mat is a time to tune into my felt senses and make choices. with each movement, each breath, i practice allowing my body to explore what it needs in that moment. i practice yoga because it feels good.
my body deeply craves movement and my restless mind seeks structure and yoga has helped me take care of my physical body and mental health.
