i hope to help students gather their attention, quiet their inner-critic, and explore their mind-body connection. i try my best to offer options + variations throughout class to make asana accessible for all bodies, ages, abilities, curiosities, and energy levels. my playlists are a carefully crafted blend of house, psychedelic rock, indie, lofi, and ambient tunes to create an atmosphere for introspection and self-connection.

vinyasa classes move the body thoughtfully from pose to pose while drawing the attention to the breath, letting breath inform the movement. my flow classes are geared towards folks who might need a little reminder to check in with themselves, ask what they need in that moment: look inside, get curious, and listen.

yin yoga is a passive, yet undoubtedly challenging, practice that targets and opens the connective tissue (fascia) to add circulation, flexibility, and mobility. yin yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses, typically held for 3-5 minutes. yin is a powerful tool to process and move stuck emotions. music and poetry lend a hand in stevie's yin classes. i tell people it's a lot of rolling around on the floor but... it is much less rolling and much more floor. gravity =)
